Inception
Purba Bharati Gas Private Limited, is a Joint Venture Company of Assam Gas Company Limited, OIL India Limited and GAIL Gas Limited, was incorporated on 19th November 2019 under the Companies Act, 2013, is authorized by PNGRB for City Gas Distribution in the State of Assam. Purba Bharati Gas is developing pipeline infrastructure to supply natural gas in two geographical areas (GAs): GA 9.03, encompassing Kamrup and Kamrup Metropolitan, and GA 9.02, covering Cachar, Hailakandi, and Sribhumi (Karimganj).
