Purba Bharati Gas Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture of Assam Gas Company Limited, OIL India Limited and GAIL Gas Limited was incorporated on 19 November 2019 as a City Gas Distribution (CGD) company for distribution of PNG and CNG across Assam including Silchar, Hailakandi, Kamrup and Kamrup Metropolitan.
